Este trabalho admite, de início, a ausência de um tratamento da alteridade radical na Abordagem Centrada na Pessoa - como proposta originalmente por Carl Rogers - para propor, ao fim, uma releitura da tendência atualizante e das atitudes facilitadoras - aceitação positiva incondicional, empatia e autenticidade - como lugares possíveis para o encontro com o outro em sua radicalidade. Aponta, assim, para uma perspectiva descentrada ou excêntrica da pessoa.

This study assumes , at the beginning, the absence of the radical alterity treatment on the Person-Centered Approach - as proposed originally by Carl Rogers - to consider, at the end, a re-reading of the realization tendency and the facilitative attitudes - unconditional positive regard, empathy and genuineness - as possible places to others meeting radically . It points out, thus, an non-centered or eccentric perspective of the person.
