摘要:The present article aims to describe the functioning of Competitive Intelligence, analyzing methods, techniques and new models in active organizations in Brazil.Particularly, we seek to describe the set of practical experiences of these organizations.From the methodological point of view, in the qualitative and descriptive research, we used a semi-structured interview applied to 13 industrial and services organizations in 2011.It was concluded that the methods and techniques of Competitive Intelligence are not disparate, for the most part, involving diverse techniques of market information monitoring, as well as the treatment of this information.According to the research developed, a disparity was detected in the objectives for the activity, which may be related to factors such as: the activity sector, culture, size and the market place chosen by these organizations.
