Neste texto, a partir da pergunta "quais são as características do ensino e da aprendizagem da História nas diferentes etapas do Ensino Fundamental?", analisamos as dificuldades e os entraves enfrentados por alunos e professores, as especificidades na aprendizagem e na formação de professores nas áreas da História e da Pedagogia, o modo como os professores expressam suas práticas pedagógicas e as consequências desses modos de ensinar nos processos de aprendizagem dos alunos.

In this text, based on the question "which are the characteristics of the teaching and the learning of History in the different stages of Elementary School?", we analyze the difficulties and obstacles faced by students and teachers, the specifics of both learning and teacher education in the areas of History and Pedagogy, the way teachers express their pedagogical practices, and the consequences of these ways of teaching for the students' learning processes.
