This study aimed the translation, cross-cultural adaptation and psychometric study of the psychological well-being manifestation measure scale for the Portuguese context. The cross-cultural adaptation process included the forward-backward translation method, followed by a pilot test (n = 16), through which aspects as pertinence and comprehension of the items, facility and time of fulfillment were evaluated. This step was followed by the psychometric study of the scale (n = 487) at Portuguese higher education institutions. The scale contains 25 items measuring five sub scales: happiness, sociability, control of self and events, social involvement, self-esteem and balance, more a total score. Results of the present study exhibit metric properties similar to the original version.
