摘要：The Research Group on Construction Management (GESCON) from Universidad EAFIT, Medellín, Colombia, is currently developing an information system that enables companies to integrate production, quality control, occupational health, industrial safety, and environmental control processes in order to increase the profi tability of construction activities. Efforts made to integrate these processes are not efficient if data collection and information management methods are not improved. Following lean construction principles, based on the notion of lean production, data collection activities are assessed during work execution control, a critical process contributing to other processes, from mid and weekly planning to the end of the construction project.
