摘要：El presente artículo hace un recorrido por las diferentes teorías sobre el origen de la música desde uno de los pasajes más célebres de Los pasos perdidos de Alejo Carpentier. Se explican los puntos de vista que van desde Aristóteles hasta las más recientes teorías de la etnomusicología, pasando por una revisión más o menos minuciosa de las opiniones de Rousseau, Diderot, Fetis y Schaeffner entre otros.
其他摘要：This article goes through the different theories about the origin of music from one of the most famous writings The Lost Steps of Alejo Carpentier. It explains the points of view that go from Aristotle until the latest theories of ethnomusicology, going over a more-less detailed study of the opinions of Rousseau, Diderot, Fetis, and Schaeffner among others.
