摘要：Este artículo presenta los resultados de un proyecto de investigaciónacción, financiado por Colciencias, que pretendía introducir cambios en la práctica educativa de la Licenciatura en Lenguas Modernas de la Universidad de Caldas y fue llevado a cabo por un grupo de diez practicantes que se están preparando como futuros profesores en instituciones estatales de la ciudad de Manizales. La observación, la descripción, la refl exión, la experimentación y las nuevas acciones fueron las principales competencias investigativas que permitieron cambios efectivos a los practicantes en su última etapa de formación. La enseñanza y el aprendizaje del inglés requieren ciertas condiciones y la espiral reflexiva en la acción ofrece una teoría y un método para ayudar a crear esas condiciones. Si las instituciones educativas tienen en cuenta la importancia de la investigación-acción en los planes curriculares, podrán formar profesores críticos, autónomos, reflexivos y transformativos.
其他摘要：This article presents the results of an action-research project financed by Colciencias that pretended to introduce changes into the teaching internship of the Modern Languages Licentiate Program at the University of Caldas. The project was carried out with a group of ten internshipteacher who are preparing themselves to be future English teachers in state institutions in Manizales. Observation, description, refl ection, experimentation, and new actions, emerged as the main research competences that enabled effective changes in the last learning stage of the internshipteachers. The English class requires certain conditions, and the actionresearch spiral offers a theory and method that help the creation of these conditions. If education institutions keep in mind the importance of action-research in curricular plans, they will be able to prepare critical, autonomous, refl exive and transformative teachers.
