摘要:This paper presents a numerical scheme, based on finite diference discretizations, used for the approximate solution of the full 2D shallow water equations. The numerical scheme considers special treatment for the convective accelerations. The validation of the numerical scheme and the developed computer program is done by comparing the numerical solution to the analytical solution of the linearized original equations developed for a rectangular bay. To show the potential of the model, this paper also presents a numerical solution for a case in which some obstacles are placed in the bay.
