摘要:In this paper we consider single inventory model for spare part management with probabilistic demand and deterministic lead time. Models are fed with parameters estimated by a procedure (Croston Meth d) that forecasts demand sizes and time between demand occurrences separately (intermittent demand).A solution procedure is suggested for solving the proposed model and numerical examples are used to illustrate the performance of model. A sensitivity analysis is performed to explore the effect of key parameters on l size, safety stock, expected total inventory cost.
