摘要：Small transverse symmetrical vibrations of a thin elastic plate submitted to Jacobi type pressure distribution have been described. The expressions for displacement and velocity are obtained in terms of Horn's function whereas for the central particle these entities are expressed in terms of Bessel functions. Numerical results are obtained for a particular case.
