摘要：Digital rights management (DRM) is emerging as a formidable new challenges and focuces on security like encryption and watermarking. It is a type of access control technology that is used by hardware manufacturers, publishers, copyright holders and individuals with the intent to limit the use of digital content. Libraries may license resources, such as images and videos, which may require a DRM system to protect the files from copying or misuse. The DRM technology is used to limit copying, printing and sharing of e-books. A properly managed DRM system could assist libraries in managing these services.
