摘要：Until recently the ‘Streptococcus milleri-group’ (SMG) was considered to be phenotypically heterogeneous4 yet genetically homogeneous, being classified as ‘Streptococcus anginosus’. ’ These organisms are isolated from a wide variety of clinical conditions including deep-seated abscesses (brain and liver), dental abscesses and infections of the gastrointestinal and urogenital tracts.
