摘要：O caráter indissociável do ensino, pesquisa e extensão é frequentemente mais repetido que pensado e debatido. Por nossa vez, defendemos radicalmente este princípio e julgamos importante analisar como ele pode se efetivar em uma realidade concreta. Para tanto, buscamos caracterizar a extensão a partir das três grandes tradições das Ciências Sociais, classificando-a em técnica, prática e crítica e definindo que só podemos falar sobre a indissociabilidade a partir de uma concepção crítica de conhecimento. Em seguida, apresentamos uma ação extensionista cujo projeto baseou-se nesta tradição. Após o que, descrevemos como tal ação desenvolveu-se, discutimos em que medida ela atingiu seus propósitos e apontamos as dificuldades que enfrentamos.
其他摘要：The indissociable aspect of teaching, research and extension is frequently more repeated than thought and debated. Therefore, this principle is radically defended by this study, being important to analyze how it can become effective within a concrete reality scenario. For this reason, the extension is characterized from the point of view of three great traditions in Social Sciences, that is, the technical tradition, the practical tradition and the critical tradition. The indissociability can only be debated from a critical conception of knowledge. As an example of a critical extension, it is here presented the teachers education in the line of their duties. This project is based in such a tradition. Following that, it is described how this action is developed, to what extent it has achieved its results and what were the difficulties endured.
