  • 摘要:One of the main challenges that Colombian companies have at this moment is the development of new products, with added value, to compete in the national and international markets with those from different countries. From the experience of many companies there are two ways to develop successful products: one is to design projects starting from the needs or desires of the consumers and to make the necessary work to obtain a product with acceptance in the market. The other way is to select projects with success possibilities and making a good selection within a wide portfolio of ideas. In this book a methodology that begins from the identification of the necessities of the consumers to obtain the conceptualización of the wished product and, from the identification of its characteristics, to develop ideas by means of creative techniques. These ideas become products by selecting necessary chemical route, as well as the technology, keeping in mind to maintain a permanent evaluation of the market and the business as the different stages of development are fulfilled. Three examples of the application of this methodology are included, that is to say, a repellent for flying insects, a cosmetic product for the area of the eyes and a suntan oil, all of them based on natural ingredients.
