摘要：In 2007, several graduate students at the University of Toronto were independently researching topics that touched on the theme of coronal phonology in one way or another. This observation led to the formation of a study group, affectionately known as the "Coronal Club". Under the leadership of Keren Rice, the group organized the Coronal Workshop, which was hosted by the University of Toronto on November 9, 2007. The papers in this volume represent the proceedings of that workshop. We offer them here in the hope that they will stimulate further discussion on the theme of coronal segments and their phonetic and phonological properties.
