摘要：Normal 0 Employing Labov’s (1966) rapid and anonymous method of data collection, 90 tokens of Bostonian (r) were gathered and subjected to multivariate analyses showing significant correlations of (r) with sex, social class and neighborhood, though none with age. Contrary to past claims, I suggest (r) is in a state of stable variation in Boston.
