摘要：The climatic and glacial changes in the European and Arctic region are closely linked to the circulation changes in the North Atlantic. No area can be understood isolated and separated from the rest. We therefore need multi-parameter studies integrated over the entire Arctic-European-Atlantic sector of the globe. A few hints are here discussed.
