摘要:We consider a base-station broadcasting a set of order-insensitivepackets to a user population over packet-erasure channels. Toimprove efficiency we propose relay-aided transmission usinginstantaneously-decodable binary network coding. The proposed coding schemes have the benefits of minimal decoding delay and lowcomplexity. We further analyze the performance of the resultingbroadcast schemes, and show that significant improvements intransmission efficiency are obtained as compared to previouslyproposed ARQ and network-coding-based schemes.
