摘要:The purpose of this study was to find out and comparethe physiological effects of different types of non-hypothermiccold exposure tests in man. In whole-body coldexposures lightly clothed subjects were exposed to 10°Cfor 2 hours (single exposure), as well as repeatedly for2 h and 1 h on ten successive days in separate studies. For local cold exposures, cold pressor tests (immersioninto ice-cold water) of both hands and both feet wereused. In whole-body cold exposures, several hormonaland metabolic parameters as well as cold sensationswere measured. In local cold exposures the measuredparameters were blood pressure, heart rate and skintemperatures.International Journal of Circumpolar Health 68:1 2009
