摘要：Every language has its own beauty, which is incrementally enhanced by the proliferation of metaphors. Numerous abstract concepts have been dissected through the lens of metaphorism. This paper sought to investigate metaphors in Vietnamese prepositions and adverbial particles denoting positions and movements in the space, for further understanding on how these prepositions and adverbial particles are mapped into other concepts such as status, value, and capability.
