  • 摘要:This paper first introduces the theoretical source and clarifies the definition of Rogerian rhetoric, then systematically introduces its goals and corresponding strategies, and structures, analyzes the major differences between traditional and Rogerian rhetoric and summarizes the main critiques from three aspects. Finally, it focuses on presenting the related studies in English language teaching in the U.S.A. and summarizing some implications for English writing teaching in East Asian countries.
