摘要：The present paper is a discussion of the end-point approach to event-types such as activities and accomplishments. Due to the fact that activities and accomplishments have been grouped into different categories such as events, situations, actions etc., no particular category will be favoured and there can be reference to all of them. In essence, the notion of the end-point approach aims at defining telicity in terms of temporal properties of situations, namely, their (reaching of) a temporal limit or end-point.
