摘要:Economic crises have always been critical moments in the history of modern capitalism - crucibles for new relationships between state and society, as well as new arrangements between social classes. One has only to remember the change which occurred in Western societies following the Great Depression and World War II. Such privileged moments have invariably been prolific creators of new ideas and devastating critics of conventional wisdom, whether Right or Left. The crisis which began in the 1970s has been no exception. Everywhere predictable patterns of intergroup relations, economic theories, political ideas and party identities began to dissolve as the post-war boom came to an end.
