摘要：The 'common-sense' history of organized feminism in Canada assumes a black hole of inactivity in the long stretch of decades between the early suffragettes and the recent 'second wave.' Yet a closer reading of history reveals a continuous struggle by and for Canadian women to improve their economic, political and social condition.
