摘要：This paper has its roots in both activism and the academy. Through it, we hope to illuminate a shared challenge to political economy and environmental action-the challenge of taking seriously the nexus between nature and power. The abject failure of the August 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg exemplifies this pressing challenge.
