摘要:In a recent article in this journal, Fikret Adaman and Pat Devine argued that one of the important reasons for the current crisis of confidence confronting socialists today is the absence of any convincing model of socialist allocation. In their attempt to take steps towards such a model - centred around what they call "participatory democratic planning" - one that transcends the simplicities of earlier market socialist schemes. Adaman and Devine provide a useful and interesting review of the so-called "socialist calculation debate.
